Corporate Team Event Ideas
Ideas for satisfying the corporate event market - corporate events are a source of budgets and a good quality corporate event has the potential for changing the output and therefore effect that a corporate team has on the World - 'for better, for worse or wasted effort'
The purpose of a good corporate team building event is to bring a team of people closer together in a way that is both challenging and fun.
It is important that personal boundaries are tested, but in a way that is not too confronting.
A good way to do this would be for the team to be brought together to perform in a small play - based in a theatre or similar 'fantasy' space, with a show director and professional actor support, the corporate team could be taken out of their 'normal' World and challenged to cooperate in order to 'act out' a number of scenes.
The scenes could be 'just for fun', or 'specifically themed' in order to make a point that is important for the culture of the corporation.
This idea could unite the $1000's of corporate team building budget and the 'poor and destitute' actor and theatre World for a win-win situation.
Team events are about fostering teamwork, coordination, trust.
Why not consider on-line war games for team events - IT teams especially would be responsive as it is an environment where they do not feel like fish out of water.

hi there

Apart from the important corporate team budgets, a valuable resource is the efforts of the team itself.
Often companies cannot afford to fund a team event, potentially costing $1000's, however they might be able to make a team of people available for a day as long as it can be justified as a team building exercise.
A team of say 20 people can produce a lot of work and output if managed correctly.
It strikes me that charity organisations e.g. a local church, might be able to enter into a win-win situation by making use of the team to complete a useful project e.g. clearing out scrub land and turning it into a veggie patch to help feed the local 'less fortunate'.
Maybe an oganisation can be setup to bring the charity organisationa and corporate teams together to achieve god things for both i.e. win-win.
This could potentially be a business idea also as the corporate budget, where available, could be used to fund professional event coordination and required materials and resources.
